About MetergyMetergy is a technology company that drives carbon emission reductions.Position SummaryParticipation in the completion of tasks required to meet Key Success Indicators and Objectives within the US Billing department. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing for residents, timely and accurate processing of Client Remittances, and reporting. Establishes strong, positive relationships with Property Managers and clients. Requires excellent client service through proactive communication, timely billing and reporting, facilitation of client requests and resolving inquiries.AccountabilitiesProcessing Client Remittances within the established SLA’s while maintaining a high quality standardEnsuring resident bills are accurate and generated in accordance to the established bill cyclesEnsuring that any new accounts are set up for Billing & Settlements processes including the set‑up and maintenance of account fees and creditsResolving and closing exceptions while identifying areas of improvement in the operational process to prevent future exceptionsClient facing to help educate and resolve client reconciliations requests or billing investigations from clientsWorking with external clients including Property Owners/Mangers, Utility Companies and Third‑Party Vendors while establishing and maintaining relationshipsMaking recommendations, executing and testing changes, improvements and controls to the Billing & Settlements processesHandling client escalations while proactively seeking ways to help improve NPSPerforming other duties in the Billing department as assignedCanceling and re‑billing correctionsCompleting move in and move out field activities in the Billing system when required. Ensuring resident data is flowing from the Property management systemProcessing payments, adjustments,
deposits and any exceptions in a timely and accurate mannerManaging and updating rates for the assigned buildingsProvide tailored reports for the client when requestedAct as client Advocate with other departmentsParticipate in special projects and initiatives as assignedCreate and deliver a high volume of accurate and on‑time monthly invoices to our submetering clientsMaintain detailed and accurate records of billing activitiesEnsure timely resolution of all inquiriesQualificationsAbility to manage conflictUniversity Degree or Business Administration Certificate or related equivalent experienceMinimum 3 year experience in Billing OperationsUtility, Telecom Industry Experience is an assetDetail oriented, analytical and inquisitiveStrong team player with interpersonal skills that can create and maintain key partnerships between internal clients and external clients at all levels including Residential Customers, Property Managers, Accountants and ExecutivesHighly motivated, pro‑active, a flexible professional with the ability to adapt to a complex and vastly‑changing environmentWorks well under pressure, can work independently/self‑manage, fast learner and meet tight deadlinesMust be flexible to work on multiple tasks while working with challenging deadlinesAbility to build effective relationships with clients and internal staffStrong critical thinking, decision making and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsCompensation$50,000 - $60,000 a year. Any shown ranges reflects base salary.
