Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk and Night Audit to join our hospitality team. This is a six month leave coverage. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth operations during scheduled shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle various front desk responsibilities efficiently.

Duties

- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth registration process.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Perform nightly audits of hotel transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial reporting.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, keeping all materials and information readily accessible.
- Assist with guest services, including providing information about local attractions, amenities, and services offered by the hotel.




- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Be reliable and available to be called in to cover other shifts

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette, managing multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Previous experience in a front desk or hotel workplace is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in handling guest requests and transactions.
