We are currently seeking a Night Shift Welder to join our production team in Dauphin. This position offers 40 hours per week with hours from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Monday to Thursday plus an additional night premium paid per hour in addition to the hourly base wage.

Job Summary

The Welder works as part of the welding department to perform the operations required in the production of fabricated metal components and assemblies. They will use various welding processes, jigs, and fixtures to complete the operations.

Responsibilities Include

- TIG, MIG, spot welding and silver soldering
- Robotic MIG Operation (main responsibility)
- Achieve/maintain CWB certification for specific weld joints
- Work with consistent speed and accuracy in a production environment
- Interpret part drawings and work order documents
- Record time spent and quantity produced in shop floor tracking software
- Measure and inspect parts produced per prescribed inspections




- Crosstrain in other departments to suit varying production demands
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Adhere to legislated and company specific safe work procedures

Qualifications and Skills
- Previous welding experience (preferably proficient with TIG welding of light gauge metals)
- Certification/education in welding is considered an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Basic math skills

- Robust communication skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.11-$29.85 per hour
