Title: NSF Collector/Collections Specialist/Debt Recovery Specialist

Duration: 5+ months - (September- February with possibility of high extensions)

Location: Dartmouth, NS- Hybrid- (3x /Week onsite in office)

Start Date: ASAP

Interview process: 1 round

Compensation: $28-$30/hour

Day to Day:

- Identify customers with outstanding debts.
- Contact and track debtors, encouraging timely repayment.
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and inquiries.
- Create and implement debt collection courses of action.
- Negotiate specific payment plan arrangements with debtors.
- Investigate discrepancies to resolve outstanding customer accounts

Must Haves:

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- 1-2 year of experience with Credit/Collections management
- Strong customer service (client facing)
- Administrative tasks
- Call center environment
- Account Receivable

Pluses:

- Previous banking experience
- Previous accounts receivable experience
