: In collaboration with the health team, the primary health nurse will provide primary health services to the community. This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; initiating and participating in community development initiatives and participating in evaluative projects.

Experience

- One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
- Three years fulltime experience as a Registered Nurse

Education

- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

- BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke
