You’ll work with purpose, learn every day, and help shape a more sustainable future.ResponsibilitiesProcurement Management: Manage purchase orders using SAP and Coupa, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet operational and customer requirements.Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvements to optimize cost, quality and lead times.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to clarify specifications and support sourcing decisions, ensuring alignment with project needs.Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, securing favorable terms and supporting procurement-related continuous improvement initiatives.Lean Manufacturing Support: Contribute to Lean Manufacturing efforts by streamlining procurement processes and providing backup support to team members as needed.Daily Role Focus: Manage procurement activities, supplier engagement and collaborate internally to support operational goals.Success Metrics:



Success measured by timely and cost-effective procurement, strong supplier partnerships, and contribution to process improvements.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors in support of developing a world-class safety culture.QualificationsDiploma or degree in a relevant field.5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in industrial manufacturing.Experience sourcing mechanical components, instrumentation, pipe fittings and related services.Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong communication, analytical and organizational skills focused on problem-solving.Nice-to-havesSCMP (Supply Chain Management Qualified) designation preferred.Proficiency in Coupa, Power Apps and Power BI for reporting and accounts payable management.Why join Weir?We live our values: safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high and delight our customers.
