We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team, a role vital in providing crucial diagnostic insights that directly impact patient outcomes and guide clinical decisions.Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely completion of high‑quality ultrasound examinations, recognizing normal and abnormal tissue characteristics and blood flow.- Analyze findings during examinations to guarantee comprehensiveness and relevance to provided clinical information.- Provide accurate, concise, and complete documentation in a timely manner.- Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Physicians to support diagnostic aspects of ultrasound.- Resolve technical and equipment issues in conjunction with service providers, ensuring operational efficiency.- Actively participate in quality assurance, risk management,



and continuous quality improvement initiatives.- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective service delivery and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and manage ultrasound files efficiently.- Champion a culture of safety, preventing errors and safeguarding both patients and staff.Requirements & Qualifications- Ultrasound/Sonography Diploma from an accredited institution.- Current member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP).- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships.- Solid organizational and time management capabilities.- Advanced computer proficiency.- Related experience is considered a valuable asset.- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse community.If you are a passionate Ultrasound Technologist eager to make a significant impact in a supportive and mission‑driven healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team at West Nipissing General Hospital.#J-18808-Ljbffr
