Job OverviewWe are currently looking for upper‑level chemistry teachers for a part‑time assignment. You will receive training on the Sylvan curriculum and work in a small group 3:1 setting. Teaching will include Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology if possible. Work hours are evening and weekend, with 4–6 hours per week after training.ResponsibilitiesTeach our Homework Support program.Supervise, interact with, and motivate students during the instruction hour while they work with equipment and materials.Reward students for completed assignments.Evaluate and document student progress.Communicate student needs to the Centre Director or Director of Education.Inspire students and develop rapport, creating a fun learning environment.Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching and the Sylvan methodology.QualificationsBachelor's degree required.Advanced knowledge and familiarity with teaching or tutoring in Physics, Math, and Chemistry for grades 11 and 12.Two years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.Robust communication skills and ability to multi‑task.BenefitsHourly pay of $19–$20 per hour DOE.
