Role Description The Office Associate is a part time, on-site role based in Winnipeg, MB. This role supports day-to-day office operations, including handling incoming calls and emails, preparing documents, maintaining records, and assisting with scheduling and dispatch-related administrative tasks.
The Office
Associate interacts with customers and internal teams to provide information, resolve basic inquiries, and ensure smooth communication between office and operations staff.
Responsibilities also include basic data entry,
organizing files, supporting billing or accounting activities, and assisting with general office administration duties as assigned. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, drivers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills to manage records, scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day office tasks.
- Candidates should possess basic Accounting skills to support billing, invoice processing, and data entry related to financial transactions.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) are beneficial.
- Previous experience in an office, logistics, or transportation environment is an asset, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Winnipeg, MB, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
