The primary focus of this role is to provide interpretation for government announcements, events, and press conferences while also supporting the Legislative Assembly during Oral Questions (Question Period) during House Sittings which are broadcasted live online.DutiesThe ASL‑English Interpreter is a specialized position which provides American Sign Language (ASL) and English interpretation to provide communication access for Deaf and hard‑of‑hearing Manitobans. The ASL‑English Interpreter is fluent in both ASL and English and will provide online and in‑person interpretation.Ensures the Manitoba government improves accessibility for Manitobans who are deafened by interpreting at public announcements and public events highlighting major government programs,
