You will operate across multiple YMCA centers in the Greater Toronto area, meeting sales targets and ensuring member satisfaction.Role DetailsPositions:Sales Representative, Sales ConsultantSalary Band:$19.51 - $20.99 per hourEmployment Type:Contract Part-Time Hourly, 8‑10 weeksNumber of Vacancies:MultipleStart Date:June 29, 2026Locations:Brampton, Central, Cooper Koo, The McDonald Family, Mississauga, North York, Oshawa, The Steve and Sally Stavro Family, West End, The YMCA at the David Braley Vaughan CentreResponsibilitiesSales Representative ResponsibilitiesRespond to members regarding all YMCA programs and services via phone, email, fax, mail, etc.Process registrations, cancellations, bookings, sales, renewals, upgrades, modifications, payment resolution and orientations efficiently.Manage general inquiries; field complaints and recommendations.Work toward and achieve personal and team sales targets, modelling excellence in sales and service.Assist the centre in reducing withdrawals and expirations, maintaining high member retention.Provide a focused follow‑up after tours, ensuring new members receive a welcome call and program training booking.Identify additional fee‑based programs that interest members to generate additional revenue.Make decisions and solve problems regarding membership sales, service functions, account issues, and member concerns.Support YMCA philanthropic commitments, connecting members with giving opportunities and volunteer participation.Integrate the value of philanthropy and volunteerism in interactions with members, volunteers, donors, and staff.Sales Consultant ResponsibilitiesPromote upselling of Plus, Personal Training, and Registered Programs.Assist with external sales/community events, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects, meeting required timelines.Provide a personal focus to prospective members, ensuring welcome calls/emails and bookings after tours.Conduct new member orientation to plan achievement of goals,



including program registration, PT consultation, and app usage.Conduct Personal Training consultations from online requests and in‑person opportunities.Address member concerns swiftly, with an inclusive perspective and solution focus.Create and update client accounts in VirtuaGym, ensuring accuracy.Assist with decision‑making and problem‑solving for membership sales and accounts.Perform Membership Assistance Reassessment interviews as required.Promote centre engagement initiatives to existing members and PT clients.General ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all programs and services and convert tours into memberships.Prioritize tasks to create conversations with members and prospects, meeting sales targets.Handle inquiries and tours, build rapport, ask probing questions, customize tours, and exceed conversion targets.Ensure accurate cash handling and balancing.Maintain YMCA standards and serve as a positive role model for the Mission, Vision, and Commitment to Service.Demonstrate appropriate behaviours, including E.Y.E. standards.Collaborate with program members, volunteers, and staff to promote additional programs.Remain versatile to scheduling needs and peak times.Perform other duties as assigned.Canada Summer Jobs CriteriaAge between 16 to 30 years at the start of employment.Valid Social Insurance Number and legally entitled to work in Canada.Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.Sales Representative QualificationsPost‑secondary education in sales, marketing, promotions, retail management,
