About the RoleClean Harbors Edmonton, Canada is looking for a Licensed Diesel Mechanic to join their safety conscious team. This individual will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet of company light‑duty trucks, heavy‑duty trucks, and equipment.Schedule12‑hour shift: 6 am – 6:30 pm, Monday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Friday.Compensation & Benefits$45 per hour.Competitive wages for this permanent full‑time position.Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full‑time employment.Opportunities for growth and development throughout all stages of your career.Company‑paid training and tuition reimbursement.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all equipment is properly secured prior to work/repairs (e.G., using chock blocks and jack stands).Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance tasks on company vehicles and equipment.Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs.Perform routine and specific maintenance tasks.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and light and heavy‑duty vehicles.Disassemble, inspect,



and replace worn or broken parts.Fit and adjust recent or repaired parts.Complete and submit all associated paperwork for tracking preventative maintenance schedules and required documentation accurately and timely.Keep the shop area clean, tidy, and free of hazards at all times.QualificationsCVIP License.Class 5 Driver’s License.Journeyman or Red Seal HET certification.2 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician.Prior experience working on vacuum trucks is an asset.Why Work for Clean HarborsHealth and safety is our number one priority.
