Princeton is also in close proximity to both the city of Vancouver and the Okanagan.SummaryReporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, the Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic will provide full oversight of maintenance, overhaul, reconditioning, and repairs of heavy-duty equipment in the shop and field locations.ResponsibilitiesDiagnoses faults or malfunctions in all mobile mining equipment and then determines the protected and more efficient method of repairWorks safely with multiple trades in a production environmentPerforms any other responsibilities related to the Heavy Duty Mechanic role as required or as assigned by the department headEducation & ExperienceRed Seal Interprovincial Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification requiredPrevious experience working on Komatsu 830E haul trucks, D375 dozers, Cat 16M gradersKomatsu PC8000/PC2000 shovels,
