The organization is now focusing on scaling innovation, accelerating transformation and embedding cyber security into the core of its digital and business strategies.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the organization’s forward‑looking cyber strategy.Oversee a technically strong team of approximately 11 and lead a portfolio of cyber initiatives that safeguard BCI’s operations, reputation, and global workforce.Serve as a trusted advisor to the wider BCI organization, the Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors.Foster a culture of security awareness, innovation and resilience across the company.Lead and evolve a highly‑skilled cyber security function, incorporating Zero‑Trust models, quantum‑computing security implications, modern threat‑intelligence frameworks,



and AI/ML automation.QualificationsProven experience as an IT leader in a modern, future‑focused cyber security environment within a complex organization.Expertise in Zero‑Trust security models, quantum‑computing security implications, contemporary threat‑intelligence frameworks and integration of AI, machine learning and automation in cyber security operations.Visionary people‑leader capable of translating cutting‑edge cyber concepts into practical, business‑aligned security strategies.Ability to build trust and credibility with the Technology Department, the Board and Management team at BCI.LocationVancouver or Victoria (with a preference for Victoria).BenefitsPerformance‑based incentive plan.Comprehensive health & dental benefits.Defined benefit pension plan.Paid time off.Compensation and SalaryThe annualized base salary range for this role based in Vancouver or Victoria is CAD $180,000 – $230,000.
