Position OverviewReporting to the VP, External Relations, the Marketing Manager is a well-rounded expert in content development and project management who is comfortable using data to make strategic recommendations.A primary function of this role will be the ownership of the company’s public‑facing marketing materials such as website, social media, videos and graphics. The incumbent will be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and nimbly adjust tactics in a dynamic environment.This is a 14‑month position covering parental leave. The incumbent will need to be in the office 3 days a week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project management for marketing communications initiatives, including scoping, scheduling, and budgeting, to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.Support the development and execution of the annual marketing communications plan, aligning initiatives with organizational priorities.Manage and analyze performance dataacross website, traditional media, and social media channels; translate insights intokey performance indicators and actionable recommendations.Prepare regular reports and provide strategic recommendationsto management and executive leadership.Develop compelling contentthat translates complex technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives tailored for diverse audiences.Plan and oversee company participation in events, including advising on attendance, coordinating logistics, and developing supporting materials such as booths, collateral, and promotional items.Contribute to other marketing and communications initiatives as required.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications,



Business Management or relevant field.8+ years of experience in corporate communications and marketing, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of leading integrated campaigns with measurable outcomes.Strong project management skills, able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.A strong communicator who can drive to consensus across cross‑functional teams and effectively move materials through approvals.Familiarity with media monitoring tools, such as Google Analytics, Meltwater, and project management software such as Monday.Com.Experience with website and social media content management.Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.An expert writer and communicator capable of clearly expressing recommendations and concepts to all levels of the organization and externally.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with energy industry, clean tech, or advanced technology organizations preferred.Experience working in a publicly traded company an asset.The typical hiring range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000.
