Come join our team and Build for Positive with Beedie.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for executing Beedie HS&E programs in all types of situations (project start-up, duration and close out)
on our job sitesPromoting a culture of job site safety, where safety is a shared responsibilityPreparing site safety plans, conducting hazard assessments, incident investigations and risk assessments, as requiredEnsuring all accidents, incidents and injuries are properly reported to all appropriate partiesFacilitating and participating in site inspections, and implementing corrective action as requiredRegularly monitoring safety compliance of workers and sub-contractorsConducting safety meetings and toolbox talksMaintaining and preparing thorough documentation and reportsKeeping management updated on issues that ariseAdministering first-aid as necessaryPerforming other duties as assignedDesired Skills and ExperienceCertified Construction Safety Officer (CSO) or (NCSO) designationDegree/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety considered an assetMinimum of 2 years of Health and Safety experienceWorkSafe BC Advanced First Aid requiredGood knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations, policies, guidelines and standardsProactive in identifying hazards and implementing corrective measuresExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to commute to any of our sites in Metro Vancouver AreaOwn vehicle preferred$30 - $35 an hourBeedie offers long-term career potential, a competitive hourly rate, ICBA group benefit package, annual bonus, and work gear reimbursement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
