Salary range:$95,912.00 - $126,870.00 .ResponsibilitiesHelp design the mechanical systems associated with one or more projects.Responsible for the function and safety of the mechanical systems.Critically review mechanical system designs.Communicate and collaborate with peers, customers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.Prepare technical documentation: part drawings, FEA reports, design reports, FMEA analysis, ISO, CSA and other industry standards.Identify opportunities for process and design improvement/optimization.Plan for and execute testing and commissioning of systems.Coordinate integration of systems to ensure compatibility, efficiency, safety, and reliability.Maintain assigned project’s CAD and PLM data.Create technical drawings and reports.Knowledge and EducationMinimum 2+ years of related industry experience.Experience with functional safety application design and development under IEC EN 61508.Engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent.Baseline understanding of programming logic and control of mechatronic systems.In‑depth understanding of manufacturing processes: casting, forging, welding, milling, lathing, cutting, bending, 3D printing.In‑depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles.In‑depth knowledge of integrating battery systems, electric drivetrains, power electronics, thermal management,
