Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.Job Responsibilities:RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilizing Web Development in Vue3.Js, React, Python, Azure DevOps, and AI integration to build cutting-edge applications, with integration to mechanical simulation and CAD softwareConstruct Backend Frameworks using Flask and Python with connections to external sources and databasesTaking ownership to complete the Frontend development (UI/UX design, implementation) for projectsGenerally assigned to software processes, automations, internal applications, existing business and/or minor modificationsSupports the complete development for the designated products including, but not limited to design, build and test activities, in accordance with standard operating procedures and the product delivery processBuild internal analytical and software tools to streamline engineering processes to support large volumes of projectsSupports customer requirements, regulations and product specifications into the design of the designated products, ensuring compliance with operational, cost, timing, safety, reliability, quality,



and manufacturing feasibility parametersAnalyzes products and formulates engineering conclusions by the application of engineering and/or mathematical principles and toolsConsults and collaborates with personnel in various engineering and design activities relative to product development requirementsSupports global CAE activities as a global teamSupports effective communications within the project team and the customer, supplier, manufacturing and quality communities with guidance from engineering management or senior engineering personnel. Maintains all appropriate documentationUnderstands and follows existing policies, procedures, work instructions and standards and makes recommendations for continuous improvementsFollows Magna’s Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policiesPerform other duties as requiredSalary Range: $21.08 to $25.46 per hourVacancy Status: Replacement Co-op student position, starting August 17, 2026QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related fields from an accredited universityGood understanding of Engineering Mechanics and Dynamics is preferred, particularly in the areas of rigid body force analysis and travel calculationsStrong communication, organization, and teamwork skills are requiredAbility to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environmentsExperience with one of the programming languages is required: Python, MATLAB, C++, VBAExperience in the following skill sets is an asset:-Proficient in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScriptFamiliar with frameworks: React.Js, Vue.Js 3, Angular, Next.Js, Nuxt.Js, Gatsby, ViteKnowledge of state management: Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Jotai, Pinia, Vuex, NgRxStyling tools: Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Styled-components, EmotionUI libraries: Material-UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI, Vuetify, Element Plus, PrimeNGBackend experience: FastAPI, Flask, Django, Express.Js, NestJSDatabase skills: SQL Server, Redis, Prisma, TypeORMExposure to CI/CD tools: Docker,
