Responsibilities

- Operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver freight within designated local routes
- Safely load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle and heavy equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Manage freight documentation, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and efficiently
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle performance




- Utilize heavy equipment operation skills to handle various types of freight securely
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating heavy vehicles
- Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair techniques
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment use and transportation regulations
- Prior experience in local delivery routes preferred but not required; training provided for qualified candidates
