Job Title: Shipper/ReceiverSalary Range: CAD$43,228:00 – CAD$54:000:00Working Type: On-SiteResponsible for the safe andaccuratereceipt, inspection, anddispatch of goods, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy,and compliance with safety and quality standards.This role is at the heart of driving our business capability and building a fantastic workplace for all our colleagues.Key AccountabilitiesRegulatory, Safety & Quality ComplianceEnsure all productsmeet safety, legal, and quality standards.Ensure all products meet safety,legal, and food quality standardsPerform inspections and addressissues related to damage, hazards, allergens, or temperaturedeviationsEnforce safety procedures andensure driver compliance with site policies and inductionsMaintain awareness of foodsafety requirements and support audit readinessProactivelyidentifyrisksand elevate concerns to prevent non-complianceEnsure compliance with foodsafety standards requirements, allergen control, and temperaturemanagement tomaintainproduct integrity throughout receivingand dispatch processesOutbound Planning &Shipment ExecutionEnsure efficientplanning,releaseand sequencing of outbound shipments to supporton-time picking, staging, and dispatch operations.Execute shipment releases withinthe system (e.G., via Outboundshipment monitor), ensuring orders aremade available for picking in alignment with operational timelinesSupport wave planning andallocation activities by organizing and releasing orders based on volume,priority, and outbound schedulesCoordinate shipment releasetiming with picking progress, dock capacity, and trailer availabilitytomaintainsmooth outbound flowMonitor system status ofshipments and ensureaccurateprogression from planned toreleased and dispatched states within WCS/ERPAdjust release sequencing withindefined guidelines to respond to operational changes such as urgent ordersor delaysCommunicate wave and shipmentrelease priorities with warehouse teams to ensure alignment acrosspicking, staging, and dispatch activitiesYard,
Dock &Operational CoordinationMaintain efficient andcontrolled flow of trailers and goods.Control driver access andcoordinate trailer movements with the yard operatorMonitor andmanagesmoothdockflow by prioritizing shipmentsandyard activity tomaintainbalanced workflow, preventingcongestion and ensuring efficient allocation of trailers and dockpositionsProcess inbound and outboundloads efficiently, including handling rejected shipmentsMonitor yard activity to ensuresafe and efficient trailer placement and movementRespond quickly to operationaldisruptions tomaintainthroughputShipping, Receiving& Inventory ManagementEnsureaccurate,timely,and efficient handling and tracking of goods.Verify incoming shipmentsagainst documentation and ensure accuracySupport wave planning andallocation activities by organizing and releasing orders in alignment withoperational priorities, ensuring efficient picking, staging, and dispatch flowProcess goods receipt and dispatch whilemaintaininginventory accuracy in WMSGenerate shipping documentsandmaintaincontrol of inventory movements using scanners andsystemsEnsure inventory transactionsare recorded in real time tomaintainaccuratesystemvisibility and support operational decision-makingSupport inventory controlprocesses byidentifyingand correcting discrepanciesReport and document safety,quality, or compliance incidents in line with established procedures tosupport traceability and corrective actionsCommunication,Problem-Solving & AdministrationSupport smoothoperations through effective communication, decision-making, and documentation.Communicate effectively withinternal teamsEnsure professional andconsistent interaction with drivers, including clear communication of siteprocedures, expectations,
