Job Title: Education & Marketing FacilitatorEducation Team – Reports to: Director of Financial EducationMust be Located in CalgaryOverviewMoney Mentors is a non-profit credit counselling agency based in Alberta that has supported Albertans since 1997. We provide education, counselling, and tailored debt solutions, offering the Orderly Payment of Debts program. We help clients consolidate and repay debt, navigate financial challenges, and move toward lasting financial stability.What You’ll Do – Marketing RoleCampaign Coordination & Execution:Support and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, web); track performanceand help improve campaigns based on data; coordinate timelines, assets, and stakeholders to ensure projects launch on timeContent Creation & Storytelling:Create content for emails, social media, and blogs; design marketing/educational materials (infographics, handouts, PowerPoint templates, and videos); edit videos for social media with branding and transitionsSocial Media:Oversee day-to-day scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of social media channels; monitor trends and recommend new ideas to grow our presenceWhat You’ll Do – Education RoleBusiness Development:Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, creditors, community organizations, professional associations, unions and self-employed individuals; promote Money Mentors’ services and tailor programs to individual needs; actively promote non-profit credit counselling and the Orderly Payment of Debts (OPD)



programEducation Initiatives:Support education initiatives; engage in community outreach and participate in events, forums, and industry groups to raise awareness about Money MentorsStakeholder Relationships:Identify and build relationships with community stakeholders to provide financial literacy programmingDeliver Workshops & Webinars:Deliver engaging financial literacy workshops and webinars on various money management topicsPublic Appearance & Content Adaptation:May occasionally appear on TV or radio, attend conferences and write articles; create and adapt educational content for in-person, online, and print formatsKnowledge & KPIs:Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal finance trends, tools, and strategies; achieve KPIs as determined on an annual basisCombined ResponsibilitiesResource Development:Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content; ensure resources are updated regularly to reflect the latest financial trends and regulationsBrand Stewardship:Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channelsAdministrative:Manage administrative tasks/duties as assignedWhat You Bring2 years of experience in business development,



training or financial services2 years of marketing or communications experience with exposure to campaign execution, content creation, graphic design, digital toolsProficient in marketing platforms including Email/CRM tools (e.G., Mailchimp, Eventbrite)Strong writing, editing, communication and public presentation skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsKnowledge of personal finance topicsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively to meet targets and deadlinesComfortable using Excel, PowerPoint and WordHow Success Is MeasuredGrowth in engagement and reach across social media channelsSuccessful execution of engaging financial literacy webinarsDevelopment of new partnerships that expand program reachRequirements of the RoleMust have a reliable vehicle with a Class 5 licenseWork-from-Home, periodic travel within Calgary and surrounding area, with occasional trips to EdmontonSome evenings/Saturdays may be requiredSuccessfully complete Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF) course within 12 months of start dateSalary:$70,000/year (depending on experience and qualifications) plus advantages, vacation and RRSP MatchingHours and Location:Full-time, flexible hours, some evenings / Saturdays may be requiredApply now by sending your cover letter, resume and a portfolio of relevant work (e.G., short-clip videos, design work) to [email protected].
