The successful candidate will play a key role in driving projects forward, supporting policy and advocacy activities, managing operational priorities, and helping shape initiatives tied to social and economic development programs.This opportunity begins as a contract engagement with strong potential to transition into a long‑term permanent position for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, mentorship, and day‑to‑day direction to a small team within the social and economic development portfolioSupport staff development, workload management, team collaboration, and operational prioritiesCoordinate and manage policy, advocacy, and community engagement initiativesDevelop and maintain workplans, project tracking tools, reporting schedules, and deliverablesSupport proposal writing, funding applications, reporting activities, and budget coordinationCollaborate with leadership, community groups, consultants, and external stakeholdersPrepare presentations, briefing materials, workshop content, and strategic documentsCoordinate meetings, workshops, travel logistics,
