Shape community engagement strategies in Indigenous relations with Pomerleau as an Indigenous Community Engagement Specialist. This role supports significant redevelopment initiatives in Northern Ontario.

You will play a vital role in fostering relationships with Indigenous communities for the WAHA Redevelopment Project. Your responsibilities include implementing engagement initiatives, monitoring social impact metrics, and developing socio-economic insights. As a qualified passionate about community development, you will contribute significantly to local socio-economic success.

Key Responsibilities:



• Implement engagement activities tied to project initiatives • Analyze performance metrics for effective planning • Identify and address social risks impacting projects • Develop community profiles and risk assessments • Ensure accurate tracking of engagement activities

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in relevant fields • Over 5 years of experience in community or stakeholder management • Excellent communication and complex relationship skills • Initiative in ambiguous environments • Experience working with Indigenous communities is a plus
