Sanitation ManagerResponsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of sanitation within the Pet Food Manufacturing Facility. Ensures the facility meets regulatory, company, and industry standards for cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene, supporting production of safe, high‑quality pet food products. Provides support by supervising contractors and associates engaged in food safety, cleaning, and sanitation duties; leads sanitation efficiency initiatives, develops more efficient cleaning methods, standard work, training, cleaning validation, and identifies operational savings.Education and QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Engineering, Sciences or a relevant technical discipline.5–8 years of experience driving a robust and sustainable sanitation program in CPG or Pharma manufacturing (food manufacturing, dry pet food, or related industry highly preferred).At least 3 years of experience leading and developing teams.Knowledge of microbiology, risk management for Environmental Monitoring Programs and approaches to reduce/eliminate potential cross‑contamination.Knowledge of manufacturing procedures (receiving commodities, processing, packaging, distribution).Knowledge of production equipment, site layout, sanitation, pest control, quality systems and preventive maintenance as applied in a food production facility.General acumen of allergen, chemical cleaning, cleaning validation, verification and sanitary design.Robust knowledge of FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs.Ability to develop and manage site programs such as MSS and SSOPs.Ability to conduct validation and routine verification of sanitation programs and processes.Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sanitation management software.Key ResponsibilitiesSanitation Program ManagementDevelop, implement,
