FJA are currently recruiting for an experiencedPeople & Development (HR) Advisoron behalf of our client based in the Bolton area. This is an exciting chance to join their busy People & Development team and support in all areas of HR and employee relations. We are looking for a confident communicator who can multitask and organise their workload effectively. There will be progression and development opportunities as the role grows; we are looking for someone who wants to progress and ‘scale up’ in the future.Benefits In The Role Of People & Development AdvisorSalary £35,000 (possibly negotiable DOE) plus car allowanceFlexibility with working hours – core hours 37.5 hours p/w Monday – Friday32 days holiday, Christmas shut down and extra holiday purchase schemeAttractive pension schemeLong service recognition and extra holiday accrualHealthcare cash planDevelopment and progression opportunitiesPeople & Development Advisor ResponsibilitiesTo support the management team in providing a first‑class HR service across the businessBeing the first point of contact for all general HR queries / ER issuesProviding a confidential administration service to the HR departmentMaintain accurate personnel and HR recordsRecruitment support including arranging and conducting interviews,



creating staff contracts and onboardingSupport in the management of ER cases across the business, dealing with staff at all levelsMaintain accurate absence and return to work dataActively driving a culture of inclusion and equality, providing support to managers and staff in adherence to the company’s HR policies, procedures and employment lawAd hoc travel to other offices / sites across the North West area – you must have a full driving licenceKey Qualifications and ExperienceExperience within a HR Advisor role, including managing ER issuesExperience of HR administration, policies and initiatives.Good working knowledge of employment law and changes in HR practiceFull driving licenceA good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products / internet and emailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCIPD Level 5 as a minimum would be an advantage but not essentialWe confirm that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person’s gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
