Role Description The Paint Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Carling, ON, responsible for overseeing all painting projects from planning through completion. This role includes scheduling and coordinating crews, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards.

Manager will inspect surfaces, select appropriate materials, manage inventory, and ensure proper application techniques are followed. Daily responsibilities also include communicating with clients, addressing issues in office, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines.

and collaborate with management to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in residential or commercial painting, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to lead and supervise painting crews, organize workloads, and coordinate project schedules effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control, with the ability to inspect work and resolve issues on-site.
- Basic project management skills, including time management, job planning, and tracking materials and labor.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients, teammates, and supervisors.
- Knowledge of paint types, coatings, tools, and equipment, as well as safe handling and storage practices.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and willingness to enforce safety standards.
- Reliable transportation around Muskoka, ON, and ability to work full-time hours with flexibility for project needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in painting or construction trades is an asset.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or foreperson role within painting, construction, or property services is preferred.
