Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Painter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various products and surfaces, ensuring high quality results that meet safety and aesthetic standards. Your mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and understanding of manufacturing processes will be essential to succeed in this energetic setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other power tools.
- Follow safety protocols diligently when handling chemicals, paints, and equipment to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly and machining tasks that require precise finishing touches.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality consistency, color accuracy, and smoothness; make necessary touch ups.




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with hand tools.
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities accurately.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely is a plus but not required; certification preferred but not required.
- Solid attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise application work.
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to painting, welding, or equipment operation.
