We are looking for an experienced and reliable Painter/Labourer to join our team. This position will focus primarily on painting, surface preparation, and general maintenance and restoration work. The ideal candidate will have previous painting or renovation experience, take pride in their workmanship, and be comfortable working independently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

While painting and paint preparation will make up the majority of the role, there will also be opportunities to assist with general labour, repairs, and restoration projects as required.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, priming, and taping.
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as appropriate.
- Complete interior and exterior painting projects with careful attention to detail and quality.
- Identify and properly prepare surfaces, including repairing minor imperfections before painting.
- Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting and preparation.
- Complete touch-ups and finishing work as required.
- Assist with minor drywall repairs, trim work, caulking, and other tasks related to painting and restoration.
- Safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
- Assist with general maintenance, restoration, demolition,



and cleanup when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work independently and efficiently while meeting project timelines.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients when required.

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous professional painting, renovation, construction, or restoration experience is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, primers, paints, and finishes.
- Solid attention to detail and pride in producing a high-quality finished product.
- Basic carpentry, drywall, or general maintenance experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation is an asset.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who can produce clean, professional results and who is willing to assist with other maintenance and restoration tasks when needed. Pay: From $25.00 per hour
