Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter specializing in Windows and Doors to join our team. This role involves preparing, painting, and finishing windows and doors across all projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing the aesthetic appeal and durability of our clients’ properties while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Apply primer, paint, stain, or sealant using hand tools or power tools with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Use rigging techniques to safely handle large or complex window and door units during installation or restoration.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as trimming or framing as needed to support painting activities.
- Conduct restoration work on older or damaged windows and doors, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates.
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship.




- Utilize various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively throughout the painting process.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including proper use of scaffolding or ladders when required.

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential or commercial painting projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction painting techniques specific to windows and doors.
- Experience in restoration projects involving older structures or materials.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with industrial painting practices is a plus.
- Solid skills in caulking, sealing, and finishing surfaces for a professional appearance.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for handling large units safely.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing safety and quality standards.
