Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of the church and family centre, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, fixture checks, and equipment inspections to ensure operational efficiency. Mechanical skills and carpentry skills considered an asset
- Maintain cleanliness standards by following established protocols and safety guidelines at all times
- Assist with setup and breakdown for meetings or events within the facility as needed
- Monitor supplies inventory and notify management when restocking is required to ensure uninterrupted service
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure quick resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a secure environment for staff and visitors
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, especially in commercial or facilities environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and chemicals used in facilities maintenance
