Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments swiftly and accurately.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues.
- Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and garnishes to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Follow all food industry regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and responsible beverage service.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with bartending skills highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
