Biagio's Kitchen + Catering is looking for a dependable, energetic and professional person to join our growing catering team. This part-time/casual position combines three main areas of responsibility: catering kitchen prep, catering delivery & setup, and catering & event service.

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable helping wherever needed. One shift may involve preparing and packaging catering orders in our kitchen, while another may involve delivering and setting up a corporate lunch or serving at a catered event.

Hours will vary depending on our catering and event schedule, with opportunities for weekday daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

1. Catering Kitchen Prep

· Assist with preparation of catering orders · Prepare and assemble catering trays, platters, salads, sandwiches and other menu items

· Portion and package food for catering orders

· Organize condiments, serving utensils and supplies

· Check and pack orders for accuracy and completeness

· Prepare supplies and equipment for upcoming catering events

· Maintain a clean and organized catering prep area

· Assist the kitchen team with general catering-related prep and cleanup

1. Catering Delivery & Setup

· Safely load completed catering orders · Deliver orders on time to offices, businesses, homes and event venues

· Unload and professionally set up catering orders when required

· Ensure customers receive all food, equipment and supplies included with their order

· Provide friendly and professional customer service

· Pick up and return catering equipment when required

1. Catering & Event Service

· Assist with setup and breakdown of catered events · Set up buffets, food stations and service areas

· Serve food and beverages at corporate and private events

· Maintain buffet and food service areas throughout events





· Clear tables and assist with cleanup

· Provide friendly and attentive service to guests

· Work with our kitchen and catering team to ensure events run smoothly

What We're Looking For

· Friendly and professional when interacting with customers and guests

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Able to lift and carry catering boxes, trays and equipment

· Flexible availability, including weekday daytime availability

· Some evening and weekend availability for catered events

· Previous kitchen, catering, restaurant, serving or delivery experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person

· Valid Ontario driver's licence and clean driving record

· Smart Serve certification is an asset

Position Details
