LEASH Loft & Spa is looking for a reliable, confident and hardworking Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team for our weekday afternoon/closing shift.

This is a hands-on position in an active dog daycare environment. You’ll spend your shift supervising dogs, maintaining a safe and positive play environment, helping with departures, communicating with clients, and getting the daycare cleaned, organized and ready for the following day.

What you’ll be doing

- Supervising groups of dogs and monitoring secure, appropriate play
- Recognizing canine body language and intervening when necessary
- Providing enrichment, affection and appropriate interaction
- Assisting with feeding, medications and individual dog needs as required
- Greeting clients and safely preparing dogs for departure
- Cleaning and sanitizing daycare areas throughout the shift
- Assisting with end-of-day cleaning and closing responsibilities

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Dependable- we need someone who can consistently work Monday through Friday afternoons.
- Comfortable and confident around dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Physically capable of working on their feet in a busy environment.




- Observant, responsible and able to work independently.
- Comfortable cleaning- this is a significant part of working in dog daycare.
- Friendly and professional with clients.
- Able to follow established safety procedures and routines.

Previous dog daycare, kennel, veterinary, rescue or other animal-care experience is an asset, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

Approximately 3:00 PM–7:00 PM

Approximately 20 hours per week

No weekends or statutory holidays
