Exceptional front-line customer service, willing to go above and beyond for both fans and fellow crew members, possess a positive “can-do” attitude …rain or shine - the show must go on!Job FunctionsLead a team of 20+ Safety Ambassadors on a show-by-show basis; They will assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guestsComplete pre-shift briefings for all assigned staff and create deployments on a show-by-show basisEnsure all assigned staff breaks are completed in a timely manner during each eventEnsure the Safety Ambassador department is identifying guests in possible distress or experiencing a medical issue and liaising with medical staff to connect appropriate careEncourage and coach team to proactively approach escalating situations to de-escalate in a calm mannerCreate protective space for our fans by warning persons of rule infractions or violations of venue policies, preserve safety & orderProvide assistance to guests with accessible needs, including but not limited to helping with seat accommodations,
or those who may be having a mental health episodeGuide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergencyMay assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas and examine tickets or VIP passes to verify authenticityLock-down of areas and access control duties for guest and artist safetyWrite reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrencesShow CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include participating in programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our effortsMust participate in Live Nation Canada zero waste/sustainability initiatives at the venueOther duties as assignedQualificationsUniversity or College Diploma or equivalent preferredPost-Secondary Education OR experience in mental health, community services, and/or health and safety fields strongly preferredExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience with de-escalation tacticsDemonstrated experience in leading a team and understanding of staff deploymentsAcute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacyPosition requires constant walking,
