Professional Driver - Lake Country Co-op, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time professional driver at our Home Centre location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:

- Demonstrate behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Load and unload merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
- Fill orders, receive freight, deliver, and unload product, perform inventory counts.
- Follow all road safety, company, and legal transportation regulations.
- Build positive relationships with the yard, desk, and leadership teams.
- Perform customer carry-out service and product assembly as assigned.
- Complete required paperwork based on department standards.
- Assist in-store or warehouse operations when required.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are





- Previous work experience in a home centre location or building materials industry.
- Proven work experience as a professional or commercial driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes.
- Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Carry a valid Class 1A license.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements including heavy lifting and carrying.
- Flexibility to report to and operate from any Home Centre location within our trading area to support delivery operations.
- Willing and able to obtain forklift certification.
- Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
