In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the freshness and presentation of produce displays, assisting customers with their selections, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the produce department. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to help them find fresh produce and answer their questions
- Stock, organize, and merchandise produce displays to attract customers and maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure all produce is properly labeled, rotated, and maintained for freshness and quality standards
- Assist with cleaning duties including sweeping, sanitizing display areas, and maintaining overall department cleanliness
- Operate cash registers for customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking for quality, and restocking shelves as needed




- Maintain organizational standards by keeping work areas tidy and adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing physical tasks such as lifting boxes or moving displays
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base better
- Basic knowledge of merchandising techniques and cleanliness standards in a retail environment
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and perform maintenance tasks safely
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including daytime, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, keep displays appealing, and support department operations
