Flippy Renos is looking for a reliable and responsible Part-Time Property Maintenance worker to assist with general maintenance and upkeep of residential rental properties throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, travelling between properties, handling general maintenance tasks, and providing clear updates once work is completed.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and minor repairs at residential properties

Drywall repairs, patching, and paint touch-ups

Door, lock, handle, cabinet, and hardware repairs

Basic appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs

Replace light fixtures, bulbs, smoke detector batteries, furnace filters, etc.

Assist with maintenance required before tenant move-ins and after move-outs

Inspect reported maintenance issues and identify possible solutions

Assemble or install small household fixtures and items when required

Pick up maintenance materials or supplies when required

Take before-and-after photos of completed work

Provide updates regarding completed work and any additional repairs required

Keep the work area clean after completing maintenance

Travel to different rental properties as assigned

Schedule

Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4 hours)

Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4 hours)

Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4 hours)

Saturday: 5 hours

Sunday: 5 hours





Weekend hours may vary depending on scheduled maintenance work.

Compensation

Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: $60 per day

Saturday & Sunday: $75 per day

Approved work-related mileage/gas will be provided/reimbursed.

Requirements

Previous property maintenance or renovation experience preferred

General knowledge of residential repairs and maintenance

Basic drywall, painting, installation, and repair skills

Valid driver’s licence

Reliable vehicle

Own basic tools preferred

Ability to travel throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas

Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks

Reliable, punctual, and responsible

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Comfortable taking photos and providing work updates

Ability to identify when a repair requires additional materials or specialized service
