- Develop, recommend and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business needs, talent availability in the market, and the specific challenges of each business area.
- Advise hiring managers on the IT talent market, skill availability, attraction strategies, target profiles, and the most effective approaches to achieve successful hiring outcomes.
- Build robust and lasting relationships with hiring managers and maintain regular, structured and proactive communication regarding recruitment needs and priorities.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from defining the hiring need through to hire, including sourcing, headhunting, screening, interviewing, candidate recommendations and offer follow-up.
- Conduct proactive talent sourcing and direct outreach to identify and engage passive, specialized and hard-to-find IT professionals.
- Develop creative and targeted sourcing strategies using a variety of channels, including professional networks, social media, events, specialized communities and employee referral programs.
- Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for strategic and recurring skill sets to reduce time to hire and better support future business needs.

- Analyze recruitment results and trends to identify challenges, recommend actions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the Talent Acquisition team, recommending solutions to enhance efficiency, quality and the overall recruitment experience.
- Participate in the planning and coordination of talent attraction initiatives and recruitment events in the Montreal or Quebec City region.
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through proactive, transparent and personalized communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain strong operational discipline by ensuring recruitment data is accurate and up to date in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with recruitment processes, policies, standards and requirements while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Represent CGI professionally with candidates, partners and talent communities.

- Minimum of 8 years of talent acquisition experience, including significant experience recruiting technology professionals.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full recruitment cycle while handling multiple mandates and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in a Talent Acquisition Business Partner role, with a demonstrated ability to advise, influence and support hiring managers and business leaders.
- Strong understanding of IT talent market trends and challenges, as well as key technology skill areas.
- Ability to quickly understand business challenges and translate them into actionable talent acquisition strategies.
- Strong ability to anticipate future hiring needs and proactively develop talent pipelines before positions are formally opened.
