Join our dynamic team as a key contributor in the assembly and manufacturing of MCI coaches! As part of our workforce covered by the Collective Agreement, you will play a crucial role in building top-quality coaches, installing and testing various components, and ensuring every step meets our high standards and deadlines. Safety is our top priority, and in this role, you'll actively promote a safe working environment and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E;) regulations, as well as Plant Safety rules.

COACH ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATE WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Install, assemble, and test various coach components efficiently within company-set Takt time

Operate a variety of hand, air, and power tools such as drills, impact guns, grinders, sanders, and torque wrenches

Follow detailed work instructions and read blueprints where applicable to ensure precision and quality

Identify and resolve assembly issues to keep production on schedule

Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve workflow

Maintain a clean, organized work area to meet 5S standards

Perform other related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Ability to read and follow work instructions and interpret blueprints or technical drawings

Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly is an asset





A strong commitment to shop floor safety and compliance with HS&E; regulations

Valuable problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
