Please note that the compensation details reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions and/or additional incentives.About the RoleThe Director, Corporate Project is responsible for leading the Capital Projects Team in the execution of capital projects. They manage the overall capital budget for the organization which includes both sustenance capital and organic growth capital, while collaborating with manufacturing, reliability, EHS, and process safety on priorities. They drive Chemtrade’s Project Management Process (CPMP) to ensure effective definition, prioritization and execution of projects, including the use of standard project management processes across projects run by the Capital Projects Team or Site Resources. They will oversee engineering design and execution and ensure alignment with Corporate objectives, manufacturing needs, Responsible Care principles, Process Safety Management, and Mechanical / Electrical Reliability requirements. As part of the Engineering Leadership team,



the Director will need to have an Operational Excellence mindset to own, drive, audit, and continuously improve the CPMP Process, Capital Project Spending accountability, Capital Forecasting, and short and long range capital planning processes.QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of Capital Project Management experience, including at least 5 years of leadership experienceExperience in refinery or chemical manufacturing is preferredDemonstrated skill/knowledge in the following areas:Capital project management and project controlsManufacturing plant support and constructionMaterial handling equipmentResponsible Care 14001ASTM and ASME standardsDemonstrated success in building and leading teams, as well as driving accountabilityOperational Excellence and use of Lean Six Sigma tools experience preferredEffective Change AgentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills with project manager, procurement, vendors/contractors, and leadership.Proficiency utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, SAP, Microsoft Teams, Power BITravel Required:
