Job DescriptionAs a Boom Truck Driver, you will be part of the team that provides delivery services for our customers displaying the highest standards of safety and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for monitoring truck maintenance and keeping driver’s records, such as daily check list. This job can be physically demanding.ResponsibilitiesDeliver materials to private homes and construction sites safelyLoad and unload productPrepare trucks for loading and assist warehouse staff as requiredEnsure proper vehicle maintenance and safetyMaintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve any issuesVerify load security and accuracyReport defects, violations, accidents, or injuriesAlways maintain professional behaviourFollow all safety regulations, company policies, and proceduresOther duties as assigned by managerSalary $19-$30 per hour depending on qualifications and experienceQualificationsProven work experience as a Boom Truck DriverAbility to lift up to 75lbsProven work experience as a delivery driverValid Class 3 or 1 LicenseAir brake endorsementAbility to drive a standard/manual transmissionDrivers Abstract Required – will reimburse upon hireAbility to work in all weather conditions, fast paced and dynamic workplaceAbility to work up to 12 Hour shifts (varying start time)Manual transmission would be considered an assetDemonstrate self-motivation, and be punctual and reliableSafety mindsetHigh attention to detailGrade 12 diploma or equivalentAbility to perform physical workAbout UsFounded in 1882, J.D.
