Posted Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 4:00 AMThe General Counsel is responsible for representing the company on a national level, specifically as it relates to complex legal matters including operational process and procedures, risk assessment, legal proceedings as well as manage external counsel.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide legal advice relating to relevant legislation and business risks to all levels of the organization and to the boardDraft legal documents, including and not limited to service agreements, lease agreement, amendments, and various other contractsRepresent the business in litigation, tribunals, and negotiations, as neededImplement governance, compliance and legal policies to protect the businessTrain in-house legal team members and increase our internal quality of workEnsure external legal counsel, resources, and services are utilized efficientlyCommission and notarize documents as neededOversee annual returns and business licenses for all business entitiesResearch regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of informationEducate departments within the business on legislative and legal requirements relevant to our businessMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices,
