Duties

- Assist customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts through friendly and professional interaction
- Manage inventory levels, track parts orders, and ensure timely fulfillment using POS (Point of Sale) systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- Provide expert advice on parts compatibility, maintenance procedures, and repair options to enhance customer experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain organized records of sales, orders, and customer interactions using Microsoft Excel and other organizational tools
- Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers via phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills




- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers or new products to boost retail sales

Requirements

- Proven experience working in a dealership or automotive parts environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts cataloging, and inventory management systems such as POS or CMMS
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- Basic math skills for order fulfillment, pricing calculations, and inventory management
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques, marketing strategies, and sales management principles
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professional phone etiquette and positive attitude
