Duties

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
- Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning treats.
- Ensure all baked goods meet food safety standards and maintain high quality throughout production.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes, seasonal specials, and creative dessert options.
- Manage food preparation and packaging for takeout or catering orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food handling regulations.




- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, baking, food preparation, and overall kitchen experience.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food packaging techniques for retail or catering purposes is a plus.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business.
