We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations within a complex, multi-employee environment.

Responsibilities

- Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the payroll team
- Review and validate employee payroll data and compensation-related changes
- Ensure payroll deductions, advantages, and other payments are processed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain compliance with applicable payroll legislation, regulations, and company policies
- Oversee payroll reconciliations, audits, year-end processes, and required reporting
- Serve as a key resource for payroll systems, including UKG Pro and UKG WFM, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancements
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, improve automation, and strengthen controls
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports, documentation, and reconciliation processes
- Resolve payroll issues and respond to inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT,



and external partners on payroll-related initiatives and system improvements
- Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

- 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership experience
- PLP designation is an asset
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations or enhancements
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and year-end processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in a complex or multi-location payroll environment is an asset
- Strong experience with payroll systems and technology
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
