Infasco Nut , a Mississauga automotive company, is looking for a
Material Handler / Wash Operator .
Salary:
$25.47/hour
Work Schedule:
Rotating 3-shift operation (Days, Afternoons, Nights) – 40 hours per week
Afternoon Shift Premium: $1.15/hour
Night Shift Premium: $1.35/hour
We are looking for candidates available to work a rotating schedule, with two weeks on each shift.
Main Responsibilities
Operate the parts washing equipment.
Perform daily soap concentration testing.
Oversee the start-up skimming process.
Complete and maintain daily wash logs.
Handle and transport materials throughout the plant floor.
Prepare and stage materials for manufacturing orders.
Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper material identification.
Work closely with Production and Shipping teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
Support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations while following all safety procedures.
Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Intermediate computer skills required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics workplace.
Proven ability to identify and resolve inventory and material discrepancies independently.
Valid forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and shipments.
Experience maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to material handling, packing, and shipping.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Ability to work flexible rotating shifts, including overtime as required.
Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is considered an asset.
