Unity Charity is seeking a community-minded Studio Administrator to support the operations and coordination of Unity’s Studio and community space. Working as part of Unity’s Studio & Programs Team, the participant will help manage studio bookings and programming, inventory systems, administrative processes, and community resource initiatives that support youth programming, events, and creative collaboration.Co-supervised by Unity’s Program Director and Program Manager, the participant will gain hands‑on experience in arts administration, facility and program coordination, and operations while contributing to a vibrant and youth-centered creative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the coordination of studio programming, bookings, rentals, and scheduling during the summer seasonAssist with recurring property management and operational tasks within Unity’s community spaceManage and track inventory, supplies, and equipment while supporting process improvementsUpdate and organize studio training materials and operational resourcesAssist in developing a physical and digital community resource boardCollaborate with staff and artistic teams to support community events and studio activationsHelp maintain organized systems and welcoming spaces for participants, artists, and partnersSkills You’ll DevelopAdaptability: Learn to manage evolving operational priorities and schedulesCollaboration: Work closely with staff across multiple departments and artistic teamsCommunication: Strengthen communication skills with internal and external stakeholdersCreativity and Innovation: Support current systems, resources,



and organizational improvementsDigital Skills: Use digital tools for scheduling, inventory tracking, and administrationProblem‑solving: Identify operational challenges and support practical solutionsTechnical Skills: Gain experience with facilities coordination and studio operationsReading and Writing: Update operational documents, training materials, and administrative resourcesIdeal CandidateInterest in arts administration, programming, community spaces, or event coordinationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable working independently and collaborativelyPassionate about youth, arts, and community‑buildingFamiliarity with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, or administrative systems is an assetInterested in creating welcoming and inclusive community environmentsParticipant Eligibility CriteriaTo be hired under Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ), participants must:Be between 15 and 30 years old at the start of employmentBe a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status in CanadaHave a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)Be legally entitled to work in OntarioWagesParticipants will be paid$18.00 per hourfor31 hours per weekover a9‑week term, beginningJune 8, 2026.
