About CRC
CRC Integrative Therapies is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric clinic in Etobicoke providing Speech-Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, ABA, psychotherapy, sensory-based intervention, early intervention and developmental services.
We are now expanding with CRC MOTION – Integrated Health & Rehabilitation, a new clinical space focused on rehabilitation, functional development and adaptive movement for children and adults.
We are looking for a Registered Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in pediatrics, autism and neurodevelopmental conditions to join our multidisciplinary team and play an significant role in the development of this new service.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with children with diverse developmental and functional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Developmental delays
- Sensory processing differences
- Fine and gross motor challenges
- Motor planning difficulties
- Self-regulation challenges
- Cerebral palsy
- Down syndrome
- Other neurodevelopmental and developmental disabilities
The OT will provide individual Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention and will also have the opportunity to contribute clinically to the development of the CRC MOTION Adaptive Movement & Motor Development Program.
There may also be opportunities to work with adult clients depending on the therapist's experience and interest.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
- Develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans and functional goals.
- Provide individual Occupational Therapy intervention.
- Address sensory processing, self-regulation, fine motor skills, gross motor development, motor planning, activities of daily living, functional participation and independence as clinically appropriate.
- Provide parent/caregiver education and home recommendations.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Reassess progress and modify treatment plans when clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Behaviour Analysts/ABA team members, Physiotherapists and other professionals.
- Participate,
where appropriate, in interdisciplinary assessment and planning for CRC MOTION's Adaptive Movement & Motor Development Program.
- Provide clinical recommendations regarding activity adaptations, sensory-motor needs, participation and functional goals within the OT scope of practice.
- Maintain qualified standards, consent, privacy and documentation requirements in accordance with COTO and applicable Ontario legislation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Professional liability insurance meeting COTO requirements.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical, family-centred and evidence-informed practice.
Preferred:
- Experience working with autistic children and youth.
- Experience with sensory processing, motor development and developmental disabilities.
- Experience providing services funded through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
- At least one year of post-registration pediatric autism experience.
- Current listing, or eligibility to apply, for the Ontario Autism Program Provider List.
- Experience supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants is an asset.
- Experience with both pediatric and adult rehabilitation is an asset.
Compensation
Independent Contractor – 60% of collected professional fees.
Expected compensation is approximately $48–$80 per completed clinical hour/service, depending on the type and duration of service and the applicable clinic fee schedule.
Additional pre-approved clinical work related to CRC MOTION program development, assessments, staff consultation or training may be compensated separately.
Schedule
This is a flexible contractor position.
We are initially looking for approximately 1–2 clinical blocks per week,
with preference for afternoon, evening and/or Saturday availability.
Cases are scheduled based on client demand and the therapist's stated availability. There is no guaranteed minimum caseload or number of paid hours at the beginning of the contract.
The caseload and available clinical blocks may increase as the program grows.

About the Independent Contractor Model The Occupational Therapist determines their availability and may provide professional services to other organizations or through their own practice.
CRC provides referrals based on client demand, but no minimum number of clients or hours is guaranteed.
Compensation is based on completed professional services rather than simply reserving blocks of availability.
