HCI requires a Permanent Part-Time (0.40 FTE) Educational Assistant to commence as soon as possible.

Salary and benefits are per the current CUPE Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 2 hours and 28 minutes per day, arranged by the principal. This position will be scheduled full days, Thursday and Friday.

Duties

- Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Role Description
- Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues

Qualifications

- Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues




- Solid interpersonal and communication skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
- Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
