Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. In this vital role, you will promote independence, dignity, and well-being by delivering personalized care in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private homes. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Follow care plans meticulously while respecting client preferences and privacy standards

Qualifications





- Proven experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in similar caregiving roles, preferably in assisted living or nursing home environments
- Strong knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Experience with medication administration and basic first aid procedures
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Must be reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing compassionate care
